Studying for my PSYC165 midterm |
I have gotten comments from classmates that I take really good notes. I have neat handwriting and I'm artistic. I am creating a tutorial to show you how I take notes, and hopefully inspire some of you with my work.
Next post will be a step by step tutorial-- stay tuned!
From strength to strength,

Tools
Zebra Highlighter Mildliner, 5 Color Set (WKT7-5C)
Zebra NC5 Highlighter Mildliner, 5 Color Set (WKT7-5C-NC)
I color code each class, so I have a number of highlighters and designate each class with a single color. I like the Zebra Mildliner Highlighters because they have a thick highlighter on one end and a thin marker on the other-- I'll explain how I use those in the tutorial.
2. Pen
I have a firm grip, so any of those fancy felt tip pens get completely crushed with my handwriting. I prefer gel pens-- I am oddly picky about the look of ballpoint pens. Pencils are too temporary feeling, and the writing doesn't show up as well. I love the Pilot G2 pens.
Currently, however, I am using these cute lil kitty pens.
3. Binder Paper
I've gone through a few phases with notebooks, or legal pads, but right now I'm loving the college ruled binder paper. I decorate the outside of my binder with stickers to make it cute and happy looking, and I can shuffle pages around as needed.
Five Star Filler Paper, College Ruled, Reinforced, Loose Leaf Paper, 11 x 8.5", 100 Sheets/Pack (17010)
4. Binder
I use a 1 inch binder which I decorate with stickers and quotes.
